I spoke to Dr. Hersch, of the Cornea and Laser Eye Institute, on Saturday about the state of my eyes, and he may be able to improve my vision to -1 diopter in one, and -3 in the other. That's going from -12 and -15.5 diopters, respectively. Without corrective lenses, my vision is not unlike Monet's works, though I think he saw more clearly than I do. I don't expect to be an Air Force pilot, but I'd like to be somewhat capable without my glasses.
