60 Minutes ran a piece on the inappropriate use of the powers of eminent domain last night that made me want to slap the mayor of Lakewood, Ohio, upside the head. Mike Wallace forgot to mention similar methods used to facilitate the construction of the Ballpark in Arlington.
“I thought I bought this place. But I guess I just leased it, until the city wants it,” says Jim Saleet.
