Small Spaces
Apparently 845MB is not enough space in which to download 560MB. This is because of an idiotic design decision on the part of the authors of web browsers.
The software first downloads the file to temporary space. After the file has transferred, it is copied or moved to its final location, depending on just how stupid the authors were and whether or not the temporary space is on the same filesystem as the destination.
The temporary file is written in case what? The download fails? Who cares? It's not like you resume the download, or offer the option to not delete the temporary file. The file exists? Am I sure I want it to be deleted? Of course I do, that's why I answered YES when you asked. You want to be safe anyway? Then MOVE the temporary file, don't COPY it. Problems with space in %TEMP%? Why didn't you delete the temporary file the last time you copied something, schmuck?
