I'm torn. I finished Lies My Teacher Told Me, and began Bowling Alone. But I received a Barnes & Noble gift card, with which I just bought April 1865, Guns, Germs, and Steel, and Krondor: Tear of the Gods. My purchase of Tear of the Gods was hesitant; I was unsure whether I had the first two of that trilogy. On return, I checked my shelves: I don't have them. Did I read the library's copies? Did I read them at all? My first thought was to see if I'd checked them out. Turns out that the library doesn't keep a record of the books I've borrowed.So now I can't decide which book to read, or re-read, first.
