Tool vendors have the great responsibility of ensuring that their work produces compliant code. Most of the time, all it takes is simple changes, like producing lowercase tags instead of UPPERCASE. Other times, it takes a small bit of knowledge, like knowing about fragment identifiers, and using them. But there's no excuse when help is offered, and not taken.(With the links there, this sounds spiteful. It's not. Just an observation about accepting patches.)
