For a group of individuals who consistently needs to quote other works, to cite other works in specific depth, and whose entire field depends upon precedent, one would think that they would be able to recognize that the current term is not limited, that it harms Progress, that intellectual property is an oxymoron, a legal fiction.
It boggles the mind.
